FAQs
1: Is your honey truly raw and unfiltered?
Yes! All of our honey is raw, unfiltered, and minimally processed to preserve natural enzymes, nutrients, and flavor. We never heat it beyond what’s necessary for bottling, so you get honey as close to nature as possible.
2: How is Bee-Naked Honey different from store-bought honey?
Most store-bought honey is pasteurized and ultra-filtered to prevent crystallization and keep it looking clear. This process also removes natural enzymes, nutrients, and flavor. Our honey is raw and unfiltered, preserving all the health benefits and natural taste straight from the hive.
3. Why does my honey sometimes crystallize?
Crystallization is a natural process and a sign of pure honey. It does not affect taste or health benefits. If you prefer liquid honey, gently warm it in a glass jar - never microwave, as that can destroy beneficial enzymes.
4. How should I store my honey?
Store honey in a sealed container at room temperature (60–70°F). Refrigeration is unnecessary and can speed up crystallization. For long-term storage, you can freeze honey — it preserves enzymes and effectively “freezes time” for your honey.
5. Does honey expire?
Properly stored raw or creamed honey does not expire. Its natural preservatives allow it to last for years while maintaining flavor, enzymes, and nutritional benefits.
6. How do you ensure your honey is free from pesticides or adulteration?
Every batch undergoes third-party testing for purity, pesticides, and contaminants. Only batches that pass our strict quality standards make it to your door.
7. Do you test for glyphosate or other chemicals?
Yes! We test every batch to ensure contaminant levels meet the strictest European Union standards, which are more rigorous than U.S. standards.
